Sam began employment at Wacky Jackz when the doors first opened last fall of 2022. She started as a budtender, because of her expertise in cannabis combined with her leadership qualities and phenomenal ability to connect with the customers and employees, she quickly was promoted to Assistant Manager. Since then, she has received her second promotion and now holds the title of General Manager. In this article you will get to know the woman that runs our rural cannabis shop in a charming and historic cabin located off US 2 along beautiful lake Michigan.

What is your favorite thing about working in the cannabis industry?
Helping people with ailments in a healthy, natural way.
What do you do in your free time?
Foraging, running, biking, fishing, and family time.
Can you tell us about your family?
I have four amazing children and 1 grandbaby.
Where did you work previously?
I was a personal trainer at a local gym, and I did and still do farmers markets selling wild mushrooms.

What are some of your all-time favorite strains?
Gorilla Glue, Northern Lights, Pineapple Express and Trainwreck.
What is your favorite way to consume THC?
All of the ways.
Do you have advice for someone just starting out with cannabis?
Take it slow. Smaller amounts are better in the beginning. Try a little bit of everything. People have different experiences with different things.
What are some of your favorite products you have tried from the shop?
Jeeter, Stiiizy, Wyld’s, and Goldkine are some of my favorites.
What have you noticed about your quality of life while using cannabis?
My sleep, pain, and gastric issues are better when using cannabis.
